Last night I dreamt my sister
could levitate.
She’d hover above the floor.
But wait
There’s more to this dream
Like state.
While she was balancing
On thin air
My brother was buying
The farm.
Not a euphemism here
For I mean him
No harm.
Somehow he’d come into
Serious cash
And had purchased his
Childhood home.
Now he could live there
All on his own.
I think it’s what
He wanted.
And me, what did
I do?
I met up with
My dogs.
All of them in
One place.
A glorious space
For me
And them as we
Ran and played
It was heaven.
Surrounded by love
I thought
This must be
My heaven.
