I’ve been writing and producing communications materials for over 40 years.  Yes, it’s a long time, – actually it’s a lifetime – but I subscribe to the theory that experience is a good thing and myself and my clients benefit from my years in the industry.

How do I do it?

I work to the premise that exceptional communication strategies and successful messages are comprised of truth, skill and hard work. I keep it fresh and if my clients aren’t continually surprised then I’m not doing my job.  Sometimes I even surpise myself.  This as a very good day!

Then there’s my sense of humour and love of a challenge.

 

May I see your references, please?

I would be happy to introduce potential new clients to current and former clients, however, I have a very strict policy about sharing client information on websites.  I don’t.
I believe the best place for communications companies and consultants are “in the background, behind the scenes, and away from the limelight”.   If you’re interested in talking to  clients and getting the low down on how the company works, then just give me a call and introductions can be made.

Who are the Associates?

I take the lead and the responsibility for all the work that comes to the company.  I also have Associates and I’m very proud of them.  It’s not easy to get to be a Susan Associate but I know I can’t do it all.  When a job needs experience and talent from outside I rely on those who can provide the necessary skills. Over the years I have developed a strong network and access to excellent resources. When we do a job – we do it right.

 

2021 Experience

 and the YEAR of ADVENTURE

2021 has been named ‘and the gods keep the adventures coming’.  In 2019 we did some re-branding and found ways to push the limits. We liked it and continued with the theme in 2020 (and then COVID19 showed us what real adventure is).

But as we move into 2021 we feel the adventure gods may be playing fast and loose with us but we’ll keep the focus on adventure.  In the meantime we’ll continue to seek out excitement and wonder and everything that makes life sparkle and snap.  We encourage you to do the same.

 

Strategic Planning

We all need a plan and all plans are different and while templates may be interesting to some – we don’t use them. 

We work from a clean page for every client   to bring experience, common sense and talent to the table. Susan will help you create your message and find the correct medium(s) to deliver your message.  It can be simple or complex but it must always be made special order.

Branding  it’s a lot of work and takes serious commitment.

We can teach you how be true to your brand – how to teach your employees how to be true to your brand.  Successful branding takes about five years.  You have to be strong and determined but we can get you there.

Corporate Change and Internal Communication

Things change – they have to – they should.

– but change is scary for many people and successful change means taking the FEAR out of the scenario.

Susan can help you stay calm and in control.  She’s very good at this.

Messages inside your business or organization are as important as those you send outward. You must have the inside working well if your outside messaging is to look as good and deliver. It’s a complete package.

Yes, we do that too and more importantly we can teach you how to recognize what’s a crisis and what isn’t a crisis.
